AISI 1090

AISI 1090

Steels containing carbon as the chief alloying element are known as carbon steels. They contain 0.4% of silicon and 1.2% of manganese. Molybdenum, chromium, nickel, copper, and aluminium are also found in traces. AISI 1090 carbon steel has high strength and wear resistance.
