AISI 1151

Steels comprising carbon as the main alloying element are known as carbon steels. About 0.4% of silicon and 1.2% of manganese are present in these steels. They also contain nickel, copper, aluminium, molybdenum, and chromium in traces. Phosphorous and sulfur are present as impurities in these steels.
